Definitive List. The definitive BGA list including the latest updates and any `Stop Press' items can be accessed through a link from the BGA web site: http://www.gliding.co.uk.

Responsibilities. The BGA has prepared this data in good faith but takes no responsibility for its accuracy or how it is used, for instance use by pilots in airborne navigation systems. Users are advised to check such data, in particular for proximity to other air activities or areas with airspace restrictions.
Airspace. Points with airspace considerations have the hash (#) annotation. A single hash # is a warning about proximity to airspace rather than the point being in an airfield ATZ or other zone for a notified activity. Points with a double hash ## should only be approached and over-flown if the organisation responsible for the airspace concerned has been contacted and the use of the point has been positively agreed for the flight concerned.
Important factual changes including corrections or changes of grid refs and deletion of points that should no longer be used.
BI1, BI2, BI3 - Delete. The club say that these Bicester start points are no longer required.
BUR - Burton - Delete. Now under low base East Midlands CTA
CRA - Cranwell North. The club have asked that this point be changed to the College tower E of the grass airfield used by the club. Change details for CRA in table below:
CHT - Chatteris. There is a parachuting zone NE of the town and so that BGA point CHT is clear, change it from N of the town to the A141 roundabout on the SW side. Change details for CHT in table below:
LAS - Lasham Clubhouse. The exact point has been moved from the centre of the clubhouse to the T-junction a few metres to the North, to give more separation from the airfield and circuit for pilots using this point for finishing. This point is also more clearly marked on the map and can be plotted more accurately. Change details for LAS in table below:
NWL - North Weald - Delete. Essex Gliding Club no longer operate from this site.
SCU Scunthorpe. The previous BGA Waypoint (river Trent bridge) is too close to new Doncaster airspace to the W. Change SCU to roundabout. Change details for SCU in table below below:

This is where there is no change to grid references. It is used where descriptions, road numbers or layouts have changed, or where heights ASL are being corrected because originally they were estimated rather than calculated exactly.
Reference Features. Andover and Durham have been removed as main reference features because they were very close to others such as Newbury and Darlington. Ranges and bearings have been re-calculated from the nearest remaining main feature. In Scotland, Ullapool and Wick have been added as main reference features. Some WPs that were referenced to Fort William and Inverness have been re-calculated to Ullapool and Wick.
